MY PREFERRED SPECIALIZATION AND ITS IMPACT ON THE ONLINE SPACE
As a child, I used to get criticized a lot by people around me for asking too many questions. I felt condemned and stopped seeking answers from people but was never content in not knowing. In school, I discovered books and became a voracious reader and ardent researcher. For the first time, I had access to so much information with no one questioning my curious mind. Google came along and voila I had found a best friend. Can any writing be done without research? I guess not. If not from reading physical books, online browsing and reading, interviewing a source, or brooding over a subject of interest, researching is a continuous part of the writing process. Researching is not just a specialization in writing, it is its synonym, a critical skill in the writer’s toolbox.
